To reinstate pressure integrity of the clients 9 5/8” casing string.
The client was looking to achieve effective zonal isolation during cement jobs, having previously experienced losses due to depleted reservoir zones. They were looking for a solution to act as a contingency in the event of cement failure as well as additional support for the cement if required. Isolation was essential in order for the planned DIACS (Downhole Instrumentation and Control System) completion to be installed.
Meta removed a section of casing damaged by the injection of corrosive fluids, on three production wells and get the wells back into production as quickly as possible.
The client had a requirement to isolate different zones in a horizontal well to allow high pressure (up to 10,000 psi) hydraulic fracturing of isolated zones.
